Registrations

Registration for the MIPTIS 2024 Doctoral Students' Day is open until June 1er, 2025 .Please register on this website and complete all required fields. Abstracts and accompanying files must be submitted before September 1st 2025, to enable us to finalize the programme.


To register here, simply follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the “Registration” page via the site’s main menu. You may use your existing HAL or SciencesConf credentials to sign in, or create a new account directly on this page. This account will grant you access to all conferences hosted by SciencesConf or HAL, please ensure you securely retain your login details.
  2. Once logged in, please register for the conference on the same page by providing your institutional affiliation, any dietary restrictions, and any other relevant information you consider pertinent or necessary.
  3. If you intend to present, proceed to the “Submission” page and follow the form to indicate your title, abstract, affiliation... Please ensure the information provided is accurate and up to date, as an event booklet containing all abstracts will be produced. If you prefer, you may also upload slides and any supplementary files at this time or at a later date.

Objectives of Doctoral Students' Day

The MIPTIS Doctoral Student Day is an annual event that aims to:

  • Promote scientific exchanges: This day provides an opportunity for PhD students to present their research, exchange with peers, and receive constructive feedback from experienced researchers. It also reinforces connections between the different disciplines represented within the doctoral school.

  • Encourage collaborations: By bringing together researchers from diverse backgrounds, this event fosters the creation of new synergies and collaborations. It's a unique chance for PhD students to discover other research fields, expand their professional network, and build innovative collaborative projects.

  • Promote communication skills: Presenting one's research to a diversified audience is an essential skill for any researcher. The PhD Students' Day offers a caring environment to develop these skills through oral presentations, posters, and discussion sessions.

  • Value the work of PhD students: This event also serves as a showcase to highlight the research conducted by MIPTIS Doctoral School. By participating, PhD students contribute to the visibility of their work while affirming their active role within the scientific community.

About the MIPTIS Doctoral School

The MIPTIS Doctoral School (ED 551) brings together researchers and doctoral students in the fields of mathematics, computer science, theoretical physics and engineering. It is supported by a network of leading laboratories in the Centre-Val de Loire region, and its mission is to train high-level researchers capable of contributing to the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge.

Our PhD students are involved in cutting-edge research covering a wide range of subjects, from applied and theoretical mathematics to artificial intelligence, materials physics, computer engineering and many other fields. The MIPTIS ED encourages an interdisciplinary approach, enabling enriching collaborations between researchers from different backgrounds.
